Some dates to remember for the next month or so are:
Sat. May 31 – Movie night at the club
Sun. July 22 – Christmas in July
May 8 – Pie drive forms issued
June 5 – Pie drive forms returned
Thurs June 19 – Pies delivered to the club
Please note the change of date for the movie night above. The change is due to a booking clash. A list of movies will be developed over the next week. If you have any requests/ selections please let one of the committee know and we’ll see what we can do.
The club will be running a pie drive this year. The dates are set out above. The forms will be issued today and will need to be returned to the club by 5 June.
The BBQ will start this Thursday as the rain and holidays threw us out again. The roster will be on the board near the canteen. Please write your name on the Thursday that suits you for cooking. For the U15 and U17 parents I would ask that you nominate on the nights that we will run the fitness training.
The club will be holding a “Christmas in July” function on Sunday July 22 at the club. We are really looking forward to this event and hope that you will be able to attend. Santa has informed us that he will be there and he will be sure to help us deliver the donated presents to the Royal Children’s Hospital. So please be sure to bring along something. Remember that it doesn’t have to be elaborate. Also bring along a plate of nibblies/ deserts
Remember that if you are in U15 and U17 and interested in earning $15 for an hour’s work each weekend let Brian K know and he will arrange for you to referee games throughout the year.
