The night should conclude at around 10.35, however older club members can continue however it will be BYO DVD. This is a major fund raiser for the club and the larger the numbers the better. BYO comfy gear such as seats/ pillows/ bean bags etc. Steak Burgers will be available for a small charge as well as full canteen and bar facilities. Cost is $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family
Double headers this week end. Please let your coach know if you are unable to play
CHRISTMAS IN JULY July 27 Starting at 2pm – planning continues. Costs are not final yet. Will advise soon.
Fitness training for the U15 and U17 sides starts tonight at 7pm. An overview of the program is attached for those teams. Attendance is compulsory as the club is paying for the program under a grant scheme and the costs are based on the full numbers of players. Apart from this the benefits to the players and the club means that the players and the club’s longevity is greatly increased.
Junior refereeing – this has been disjointed so far due to player commitments but we should have full refereeing commencing soon. A “rule’s” evening will be set up at the club in the next few weeks.
RESULTS PLEASE REMEMBER TO FORWARD THE RESULT SHEETS TO THE BJHA AS PER THE PAMPHLET ISSUED LAST WEEK, AS WELL AS ADVISING BRIAN KINGSFORD OF THE RESULTS.

The Under 9's had a nill all draw (again) last week against Kedron Wavell. We had several good chances but just couldn't crack it. Our defence played strong with Anthony Burke playing very well at keeper and Mitchell Tucker making some great tackles.
Drew Martin and Callum Rainbow were dominant in the midfield and Isaac Toigo always looked very dangerous up front. Our defence around the field is very good and Gary and I look forward to the team scoring a few more goals in the coming weeks. Thanks to all the parents and family members for their support, our team is improving with each game and more importantly we are all enjoying our hockey and having fun.
Wayne Tucker.
