| Laminated Glass
Laminated glass comprises of two or more sheets of glass and a PVB (polyvinylbutryal) interlayer which are permanently bonded together under heat and pressure to form a single piece. The major feature of laminated glass is it's ability to remain intact when breakage occurs. The glass fragments are held together by the interlayer reducing the likelihood of injury. Other benefits of laminated glass are: security; heat & glare control; UV elimination; and sound reduction.
These many features along with the durability and versatility of laminated glass allows its use in a wide range of residential and commercial applications, from windows and doors through to lift wells and swimming pools.
G.James laminated glass is a Grade 'A' safety glass and has been independently certified to exceed the requirements of AS/NZS 2208.
